The present invention relates to a method making it possible to steer a vehicle by inclining its steering module (1) to the right or to the left with respect to its supporting chassis (2) about the longitudinal axis (5) of the vehicle. The transmission of the steering movement from the module to the chassis takes place through the use of a steering arm of adjustable length (4) acting on steering gear and steering knuckles. This method makes it possible to retain constant geometry of the sets of wheels, as well as a wide variety of settings, and it thereby offers accuracy and handleability. <IMAGE>
