PURPOSE:To visually and intuitively grasp the number of sheets, to facilitate the control of the processing circumstances of many devices and to prevent input errors from occurring by providing a scale plate, an indication means and an analog type sheet number display means provided with a driving means. CONSTITUTION:The sheet number setting means 71 of a sheet number setting and display device 8 is provided with a plus key 72, a minus key 73 and a clear key 74 and connected to a control means. A sheet number displaying means 81 is obtained by providing a scale 83 that one sheet is expressed by one scale on the scale plate 82 and turnably attaching a pin 84 which penetrates in the center. A driving means 86 for a guide 85a is provided on the back side of the scale plate 82. The pin 84 rotates by one scale by the rotation of a guide motor 87. When the clear key 71 is inputted, the guide 85a rotates toward the position of a scale '0', but when an actuating piece 89 gets into the slit of a position detector 88, the motor 87 stops and the guide 85a stops while pointing to the scale 83a. In the case of detecting the passage of a paper in the midst of forming an image, the guide 85a rotates to decrease by one scale by means of a control main body, and the number of remaining sheets to which copying should be performed is displayed. |
