The soil feeder (15) has a travelling and punching drive (11), wheels (13, 14), and a tank (8) for liquid or dry nutrients. A measured amount of nutrient is injected into the soil (1) via long vertical holes (2) of relatively small diameter which are punched into the ground by the punching tool (3) which consists of an outer tube (4) and an inner rod (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - The device is simple and mobile, and makes holes in lawns etc. for the application of amounts of fertilizers, liquids, seeds, etc. or for aerating the soil.
