PURPOSE:To eliminate image blurrs and uneven images based on the vibrations of a driving system by using such a gear mechanism which divides one driving source to plurality. CONSTITUTION:At the time of copying under variable magnifications, the positions of required optical members change according to variable magnification rates and the rotating speeds of an original holding drum 206, an original feed roller 203, original separating roller pair 204a, b, timing roller pair 205a, b, etc. are changed; also, transfer material feed timings are regulated, whereby required single or multi variable magnification copying is accomplished. In this case, timing belts 251, 262, 279 play the functions of absorbing vibrations, and their driving is divided by gears 247, 259 respectively from a variable magnification output gear 247. Thereby, the transfer of the influence of the load fluctuations of one of these, for example, the influence of the driving and stopping of register roller pair 205a, b to the other is obviated. |
