A dressing comprises a light-transmissive adhesive layer (3) and a light-transmissive, flexible plastics film (1), which film is laminated on one side to a non-woven fabric layer (2), wherein the non-woven fabric layer is provided with a pattern of protrusions (5) on one surface which allows part of the patterned non-woven fabric layer to be light-transmissive.
