PURPOSE:To make the density of an image unified by providing pulse amplitude switching means for switching a voltage pulse amplitude to be supplied to a predetermined control electrode so as to make the quantity of electric charge for forming an electrostatic latent image to be formed on recording parts at every stylus electrode to be the same value. CONSTITUTION:For example, at time points t11-t12, an electrostatic latent image due to a positive voltage pulse P1A and a negative high voltage pulse P1CH is recorded at a recording part 4A1L on an electrostatic record medium 4, and an electrostatic latent image due to the voltage pulse P1A and a negative low voltage pulse P2CL is recorded at a recording part 4A1R. Here, when a switch 18CP is operated in accordance with a voltage switching signal from a CPU 20, an electrostatic latent image due to a positive voltage pulse P1B and a negative high voltage pulse P2CH is recorded at a recording part 4B1L at time points t12-t13, and an electrostatic latent image due to the positive voltage pulse P1B and a negative low voltage pulse P3CL is recorded at a recording part 4B1R. When a recording is to be done on the recording part 4B1, a re-recording function due to a remaining element voltage Vf and a crosstalk noise element voltage Vc is actuated, so that a quantity of electric charge to be accumulated in the recording part 4A1L becomes the same value as that of the recording part 4A1R. |
