PURPOSE:To prevent scratch, damage, etc., of a platelike component at the time of positioning and to easily position the component even if one side surface of the component is coated with adhesive by supporting the peripheral edge of the component by a supporting member, then temporarily positioning it, and then primarily positioning it. CONSTITUTION:If a platelike component such as a solar cell 20 is positioned, driving cylinders 13a, 13b are first operated, positioning plates 12a, 12b are externally rotated to be widened, a solar cell 20 is placed on the upper ends of temporarily positioning plates 14a, 14b and the upper surfaces of steps (t) of the plates 12a, 12b, and the peripheral edge is supported. Thereafter, the plates 12a, 12b are rotated inwardly by the cylinders 13a, 13b to press the side of the cell 20 to be moved, and the opposite sides are brought into contact with the plates 12c, 12d to be positioned. Thus, even if the component is largely deviated and supplied, the sliding contact amount of the component with supporting means at the time of positioning is reduced to prevent scratch, damage to be positioned. |
