An Electric stapler of the type in which a magazine is unmovably fixed, characterized in that the magazine is secured to a body frame; a driver for driving out a staple is supported by the magazine so that the driver can be rectilinearly reciprocated; a clincher, which receives the staple driven out by the driver, is supported by the frame so that the clincher is located to face the driver and can be reciprocated on the production of the direction of the reciprocation of the driver; the driver is coupled to drive links at one end of each thereof; the links are supported by the frame so that the links are swingable; the clincher is coupled to a clincher lever at one end thereof; the lever is supported by the frame so that the lever is swingable; the links and the lever are associated at the other ends thereof with a drive control cam, which is rotated by an electric motor; and the driver and the clincher are nearly simultaneously moved toward and away from each other in mutually opposite directions through the rotation of the cam. <IMAGE>
