PURPOSE:To secure toner supplement and stirring in a developer width direction by cross mixing, by sending a developer on a guide member in the direction opposite to the feed direction of a mixture of toner from a supplementing part and a developer in a device. CONSTITUTION:An excessive developer which falls from the surface of a developing sleeve is returned to the storage part at the bottom part of a developing device through the upper surface 16 of a separator 11. This is mixed with toner which is collected by a U-shaped collector 17 to fall from a hole 12 and supplied by a screw body 9 and a toner supplementing brush 10, and the mixture is sent out to a discharge port 15 by a conveying screw 14. The remaining developer, on the other hand, in guided by a deflecting plate 18 and falls in the opposite direction, thus mixing the developer significantly in the width direction of the developing device over crossing. |
