PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of electron flow to the outer surface of an element by disposing a magnet for generating a magnetic field in a direction along the detecting axis of a semiconductor block on the outer periphery of the block. CONSTITUTION:An annular magnet 5 for generating a magnetic field B in a direction along the detecting axis X of a semiconductor block is disposed on the outer periphery of a semiconductor block 1. Since an electric field in a semiconductor element is corrected by disposing the magnet 5, electrons generated by introducing an X-ray are moved in the element along electric lines of force to be collected by a positive electrode surface 2. Here, if excitation of the magnet 5 is increased, the electron flow moving in the semiconductor is converged toward a positive electrode surface 3 to prevent leakage to the side face of the element. Thus, detecting efficiency of a detector is improved, and a measuring error at the time of counting can be prevented.
