<p>PURPOSE:To prevent electrostatic breakdown of a semiconductor element by separating an IC card from terminals of a connector when it is mounted on an external device and short-circuiting an electricity between the terminals of the connector when it is removed from the external device. CONSTITUTION:A thrust bar 24 of an electrostatic breakdown preventing mechanism 20 abutting to a connector of an external device moves in the direction of A'. A tip of the thrust bar 24 abuts against L-shaped levers 21c of a frame 21 having conductive brush so as to make the frame 21 rotate in the direction of A' with rotating center at connecting pin 23, so that a conductive brush 21b is separated from terminals 12a of a connector 12. When an IC card is removed from the external device, a spring 22 moves the thrust bar 24 in the direction of B through the L-shaped levers 21c. Accordingly, the frame 21 having conductive brush rotates in the direction of A and the conductive brush 21b contacts with the terminals 12a of the connector 12, so that an electricity between the terminals 12a will be short-circuited. Even when an electrostatic electricity with high voltage enters, electric potentials of all terminals 12a are the same.</p> |
