摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a compact power transmission device which reduces the generation of noise of a power transmission system and is durable to even a high load by forming a gear, transmitting a power, of a soft material and a high strength material. CONSTITUTION:A pinion gear 1-2 is engaged with a low noise gear 1-3 in a state to produce a backlash, and when the pinion gear 1-2 is rotated in a counterclockwise direction, the section of the pinion gear is first collided with a gear 1-3a of a soft material. In this case, the generation of noise of collision between tooth surfaces is reduced by means of the soft material, and noise produced as a result of gears being engaged with each other is further quiet than that of a conventional type. When, during a high load operation, the soft material is slightly deformed by means of a load, the tooth surface of the pinion gear 1-2 is brought into contact with a high strength material 1-3b. Thereby, before the tooth surface of the soft material is broken by means of a load, a power is transmitted by means of a gear of the high strength material. Even during a high load operation, a gear is prevented from breakage and a power can be quietly transmitted.
