The heating unit which is the subject of the invention comprises at least one electrical resistance element 4 which has a succession of helically coiled portions, with considerable clearance, over a corresponding support series 5, which are identical and independent, which are mounted, in a radial position, between two concentric rings 1,2 formed by a general support frame.
