PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicide composition for paddy field containing 2,3- dihydrobenzofuran derivative and pyrazole derivative, exhibiting extremely high synergistic effects and capable of surely controlling almost important weeds in a paddy field in one treatment. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition containing (A) a compound, e.g. 2,3- dihydro-2-morpholino-5-trifluoromethanesulfonyloxy-3,3,7-trimethylbenz ofuran, expressed by formula I [R<1> is H, OH, alkoxy, OCOR<4> (R<4> is alkyl, cycloalkyl, etc.), benzyl, styryl, phenoxy, formula II (R<6> is H, halogen, CN, alkyl, etc.; m is 15), etc.; R<2> is H or expresses O together with R<1>; R<3> is H, methyl or halogen] and (B) a compound expressed by formula III [R<11> and R<12> are H or alkyl; X is H, halogen, alkyl or NO2; n is 1-5; R<13> is COR<14> or SO2R<14> (R<14> is alkyl or phenyl which may be replaced)] at a ratio of the component B of 1-10 pts.wt. based on 1 pts.wt. of the component A. |
