PURPOSE:To smoothly carry out shifting of the titled burner to a gasification combustion by providing a band drum atomizing rotor in the titled device of a hot water supplier or the like, projecting one conical surface into a combustion cylinder and supplying the fuel by successively changing over to both conical surfaces. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting combustion, a first switching valve 33 is opened, and a second switching valve 34 is closed, a fuel pump 31 and a driving motor 24 are actuated, and the fuel is supplied from a first nozzle 27 to a first conical surface 26A of a fuel atomizing rotor 26. By this procedure, the fuel is pulverized and flows into a combustion cylinder 11 along the conical surface 26A, and is dispersed over the periphery as shown by arrow A, and carries out pre-combustion. When the temperature of the pre-combustion rises to a temperature necessary for the vaporization of the fuel, the first switching valve 33 is closed and the second switching valve 34 is opened, the fuel is supplied to a second conical surface 26B, and is dispersed into a vaporization chamber 21 as shown by arrow B. By this constitution, the combustion can be smoothly shifted from the pre-combustion to the gasification combustion, and oil dripping can be prevented.
