Partition separating passengers from luggage space - can be folded against underside of roof of vehicle when not in use

The private car has rear seats (1) which can be folded flat to provide more luggage space when required. This increased luggage space can then be sepd. from the front seat passengers by a partition (8) which extends from the undersurface of the roof to the upper edge of the backrest of the front seat. When not in use, the partition can be swung upwards to lie against the underside of the roof. In order not to interfere with the head-room of the rear passengers the partition is made in two parts (8a,8b) connected by a hinge (13) so that the two parts lie flat one on the other. USE/ADVANTAGE - Sepn. of luggage space from passenger space by a folding partition which does not inconvenience rear passengers.
