A-740 06.09.1990 - 11 - ru10070 The adjusting device is used to change the phase angle between an input shaft (6) and an output shaft (5) of a chain drive (7) between a sheet feeder and a printing unit of a sheet-fed printing press. The adjusting consists of a tensioning element (11) acting from inside against the tight side (7a) and of a tensioning element (12) acting from inside against the slack side (7b), both said tensioning elements (11, 12) being disposed on a slide (13), said slide (13) being, for the purpose of phase adjustment, displaceable more or less perpendicularly to a plane (26) in which lie the axes of both shafts (5, 6). Provided for the slack side (7h) is an additional chain tensioner whose tensioning elements (18, 19) act from outside against the slack side (7b) and are adjustably movable in the aforementioned plane in relation to the tensioning element (12), said tensioning element (12) acting from inside.
