PURPOSE:To perform a variety of printing on a variety of papers, by providing a paper passage for push-in feeding and a paper passage for traction feeding substantially on a plane surface in the vicinity of a printing part, and pressing a pair of rollers for feeding a slip paper against each other to positively apply a tractive force to a continuous form paper at the time of push-in feeding of the continuous form paper. CONSTITUTION:At the time of feeding a slip paper, a pair of rollers 4 are strongly pressed against each other, while a pair of rollers 5 are weakly pressed to each other. At the time of push-in feeding of a continuous form paper, both the pair of rollers 4 and the pair of rollers 5 are weakly pressed to each other. At the time of traction feeding of the continuous form paper, both the pair of rollers 4 and the pair of rollers 5 are separated from each other. In the traction feeding of the continuous form paper, the line feeding direction for the paper passed through a printing part and a reference side of the paper are opposite to those in the push-in feeding. Therefore, printing information to be supplied to a printing head 2 is switched according to the switching from forward rotation to reverse rotation, or vice versa, of a tractor 6. |
