PURPOSE:To measure the passing position and moving direction of a moving body by using two reflecting bodies and one optical beam emitting/receiving device. CONSTITUTION:When a moving body 7 comes to a point 7, an optical beam L1 is reflected by a first reflecting body 3, and received by an optical beam emitting/receiving device 2. Thus, a distance meter is activated. When the moving body 1 moves to a point 8, the optical beam L1 is reflected by a second reflecting body 4 and received by the optical beam emitting/receiving device 2. The distance a1 between the points 7 and 8 is calculated. The optical beam emitting/receiving device calculates the distance between the reflecting body 3 and the point 7 at the point 7, and also the distance between the reflecting body 4 and the point 8 at the point 8. Accordingly, points P1 (X1, Y1) and P2 (X2, Y2) where the optical beam reflected by the reflecting bodies is received can be operated by a geometric expression of relation. |
