PURPOSE:The titled composition which has improved weather resistance, recoating properties, causes neither clouding of varnish nor discoloration of coating film and improved coating film qualities, comprising a reaction product of a base resin containing an active hydrogen group having reactivity with silicone and a specific organopolysiloxane resin. CONSTITUTION:The timed composition useful as a resin vehicle for topcoating compound, comprising a polysiloxane modified resin obtained by reacting (A) a base resin (e.g. polyester resin, etc.) containing an active hydrogen group having reactivity with silicone with (B) an organopolysiloxane resin which is shown by the formula (R consists of 1-50mol% propyl group and 99-50mol% monofunctional organic group except propyl group; R' is 1-20C alkyl or aryl; n and m are <4 and n+m<4) and has 150-2,000 number-average molecular weight in a ratio of preferably 99:1-50:50 (solid content ratio).
