INJECTOR VALVE An injector valve for injecting proportional quantities of a first liquid into a second liquid flowing through the body of the valve which is provided with spaced apart primary and secondary flow channels and with an inlet port and an outlet port common to the flow channels. The secondary flow channel is provided with a Venturi, with a throat generally intermediate the ends thereof. The throat area defines an injection chamber in the form of an annular enclosure coaxial with the secondary flow channel, and with the axial length of the injection chamber being substantially coextensive with that of the Venturi throat. The ratio of the length of the injection chamber to the diameter of the secondary flow channel at points immediately adjacent the ends of the throat is approximately 2:1, while the ratio of the crosssectional area of the annular chamber to that of the secondary flow channel at the ends of the chamber is approximately 4:1. |
