<p>PURPOSE:To rapidly comply with forgetting turning off a power source or the occurrence of a fault by providing a self-exciting oscillation means for generating an image signal in the device of its own when the signal of an image interface is not detected and a means for transmitting a self-exciting image signal to the image interface. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a synchronizing signal detection circuit 1 which detects that a vertical synchronizing signal 10 and a horizontal synchronizing signal 11 are not inputted in a specified cycle, a low frequency oscillation circuit 2 which generates a warning color image signal, and a red image mixture circuit 3. When the transmission of the vertical/horizontal signals 10 and 11 is stopped, the synchronizing detection circuit 1 supplies the image signal 12 and a switching horizontal synchronizing signal 14 which are in the same cycle as the signals 10 and 11 to the respective oscillation synchronizing circuits. At the same time, a screen flickering signal 16 is generated by an oscillation command signal 15 for the circuit 2. Thus, the fault of the image interface and the connected or disconnected state of the power source of a host system are recognized by flickering the image. Thus, the device rapidly complies with the fault and an operation mistake in the case of connecting or disconnecting the power source is avoided.</p> |
