PURPOSE:To obtain a dry lithographic printing plate in an easy manner by a method wherein a printing plate provided with a photosensitive resin layer on a substrate is exposed to light, an image is developed thereon, a photosetting organopolysiloxane is applied thereto, the photosensitive resin layer of an image part is optically decomposed by exposing the full surface to light, simultaneously a silicone rubber layer is formed, and the image part and the rubber layer formed thereon are removed by a solvent. CONSTITUTION:As a substrate, a metallic plate, such as aluminum or iron, a plastic film, such as polyester or polyolefine, and the composite of the both are exemplified. As a photosensitive layer composed of a substance containing a quinonediazide structure, a quinonediazide which is normally used for a positive PS plate and a wipe-on plate is used. A photosetting organopolysiloxane for forming a silicone rubber layer has maleimide group with replacement of substituents at 2- and 3- positions by aromatic groups or heterocyclic groups. A positive film is applied to a base plate to have the optically-decomposing photosensitive layer on the image part; the non-image part is exposed to light to be optically decomposed and developed. A methanol, an ethanol, or the like can be used as a solvent. |
