<p>PURPOSE:To use wall paper of low cost and to readily peel wall paper by ready operation, by applying water, etc., to the surface of the wall paper having a decorative layer made of a synthetic resin on backing paper so as to partially expose the backing paper and making water, etc., from the exposed part of the backing paper absorb in the banking paper. CONSTITUTION:Backing paper 1 is provided with an exposed part 1a (10-30 % exposed part based on the whole wall paper) so as to partially expose the backing paper and with a decorative layer 2 made of a synthetic resin which is subjected to gravure printing with expandable ink comprising a vinyl chloride resin, etc., to constitute the exposed part 1a, optionally blended with a blowing agent, plasticizer, etc., and water or mixed water containing <=5 vol.% anionic surfactant such as fatty acid soap is sprinkled from the surface of wall paper and absorbed from the exposed part 1a in the whole backing paper to carry out the objective peeling. The backing paper is blended with preferably 0.5-3 wt.% surfactant and provided with the decorative layer to give wall paper having peeling properties.</p> |
