PURPOSE:To exclude the mechanical driving system and to execute the read operation control with high accuracy by providing an information reading means having plural detecting elements, and a read control means for selecting each of plural detecting elements of the information reading means and executing the driving control. CONSTITUTION:Light from a light emitting part 11 transmits through an optical disk 1 and is diffracted and reflected by a signal pit and a guide groove of the optical disk 1 at the time of this transmission and a signal light is generated. The signal light is photodetected by a light receiving part 20 of a read sensor 2 and converted photoelectrically, and charge corresponding to intensity of the photodetected signal light is outputted to a transfer part 21. Also, a control circuit 31 outputs a clock pulse to a prescribed transfer part 21 specified on X - Y coordinates, based on a control signal, and executes selectively the driving control to the transfer part 21 of the light receiving part 20. In such a way, in a still state, a read-out operation can be executed with high accuracy, stably, and also, at a high speed by an electrical control operation. |
