<p>PURPOSE:To provide a bottom structure having an improved combination of deformation under pressure and self-standing stability by forming a bottom structure in which supporting bottom periphery is divided into a plurality of pairs of opposed portions, and a saddle-like curved portion and pinch-off opposed portions, and a saddle-like curved portion and pinch-off connecting portions are provided. CONSTITUTION:Steps 14a,14b are provided between opposed sides 13a,13b of a saddle-like curved portion 10 and bottom peripheries 9a,9b while a pinch-off connecting part 11 extends through the undersides of the steps 14a,14b to the vicinity of the portions 9a,9b. By providing the pinch-off connecting part 11 in this manner, deformation of the portions 9a,9b caused by internal pressure can be nearly prevented, making thereby a bottle very stable. Even if the steps between the lower bridges 15 of the par 11 and the portions 9a,9b are made smaller, since the structure in which the pinch-off connecting part and the saddle-like curved portion are oriented normal to each other is provided, amount of axially downward deformation of this structure under high internal pressure is negligibly small.</p> |
