A memory card having a storing device, and electronic apparatuses utilizing thereof. The memory card has a RAM (36), a battery (38), a voltage converting device (40) which boosts the voltage of the battery and outputs the boosted voltages, a changing over circuit (42) which receives the output voltage of the voltage converting device and a voltage fed from the external of the memory card, and outputs either one of the inputted voltages to the RAM as the driving voltage thereof. Thereby, a higher voltage than the voltage of the battery is fed to the RAM when the RAM is backed up, and software errors are reduced. |
