PURPOSE:To share a part of circuit and to drive a plurality of loads arbitrarily by sharing a converter section, a smoothing capacitor and a control circuit section in order to drive the plurality of loads arbitrarily thereby providing each load with an inverter section. CONSTITUTION:An AC signal from a commercial power supply 1 is converted at a converter section 2 into a DC signal which is then smoothed through a smoothing capacitor 3 and fed to power transistors 4, 5. Upon provision of an operational command for inverter, a microcomputor 12 in a control circuit section 11 performs PWM operation in response to respective operational commands for loads 7, 8. Base amplifier circuits 9, 10 then drive power transistors 4, 5 respectively. The power transistors 4, 5 convert the smoothed DC signals into AC signals of variable voltage and variable frequency, respectively, which are fed to the loads 7, 8 respectively thus operating two loads arbitrarily. |
