The mechanical cleaning system is for bundled flue pipes. It uses power-rotated cleaning implements. The implements take the form of wire spirals (2) enclosing the pipes (1) which are pref. arranged in parallel. It uses as the drive a set of intermeshing gears etc. (3) each coupled to one end of the cleaning wires (2). The system is applicable to upright, horizontal and angled flue runs. USE - Mechanical cleaning of bundle of pipes of tubes arranged in flue.
