PURPOSE:To simplify a rotation detecting means by using a light receiving means receiving reflected light from a magnetic brush formed on the outer peripheral part of a sleeve, as the rotation detecting means. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of the sleeve 11 is detected by a reflection type photosensor 17 arranged just under the sleeve 11. This detecting signal is amplified up to a prescribed level by an amplifier 21, and then, binarized by a binarization circuit 22. When an output pulse from the circuit 22 is inputted into a rotation control circuit 24, the circuit 24 carries out the feedback control of a sleeve driving device 25 so as to make the period of the output pulse from the circuit 22 constant. Thus, the number of the revolutions of the sleeve 11 is made constant, and toner can be uniformly supplied to a photosensitive body 1. |
