<p>Problems arise in take-up on the spindle ends in devices for winding and unwinding cables on a cable drum (9) with portal-like bearing frame (1) and transversely movable bearer arms (4), adjustable for length, and with rotary spindle ends (8) suspended therefrom owing to the inevitable dimensional errors in the take-up apertures in the cable drums. Take-up is facilitated by making the bearer arms (4) freely flexible in the longitudinal direction and making the spindle ends (8) movable transversely thereto on the bearer arms, so that virtually smooth automatic operation is possible.</p> |
