PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic motor provided with a rotational position sensor, which is resistant to temperature changes and has a small number of wires for wiring, by making a rotor and stator of conductors, and by providing at an equal pitch radial protruding parts on the rotor and radial grooves in the stator respectively, and further, by mounting a dielectric slider on the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 4 is a conductor provided with radial protruding parts 4a at an equal pitch. A slider 3 is a dielectric of rotating together with the rotor 4 in a body. A stator 1 is a conductor provided with radial grooves la, each being the same size as the protruding part 4a. One end of a wiring 6 for the output of a monitor is connected with a monitor electrode 2a, and the other end of the wiring 6, via a connection terminal 4b for wiring of the rotor 4, is connected with an output terminal S' for outputting positional sensed signals. Thereby, a rotational position sensor, which utilizes both the capacitance varied by the rotation of the rotor and the monitor voltage of the monitor electrode, is constituted. Further, an ultrasonic motor, which is resistant to temperature changes and has a small number of wires for wiring, can be obtained. |
