PURPOSE:To obtain a camera which attains an optimum auxiliary light effect in all the photographing states by changing the ratio of the emitted light quantity of a stroboscope to external light by every frame. CONSTITUTION:The voltage of a main capacitor 3 is divided by resistances R1 and R2 and outputted to an A/D.C(voltage measuring means) 7 and the positive input terminal of a comparator(voltage comparing means) 21 as 1st voltage VA. Then, 2nd voltage VD from a D/A.C(calculated value proportional voltage output means) 20 is inputted in the negative input terminal of the comparator 21. The voltage VD is set to be the same as the voltage VA at the time of finishing light emission. When an Xe tube(light emitting tube) 4 starts to emit light, the voltage of the capacitor 3 rapidly drops and the voltage VA also drops. When the voltage VA becomes lower than the voltage VD, the light emission of the Xe tube 4 is stopped. For the photographing of a 2nd frame, the light quantity smaller than the emitted light quantity for a 1st frame is calculated by an auxiliary light quantity arithmetic means 18, and the light emission is performed based on the voltage VD' obtained from a voltage arithmetic means 19 and the D/A.C 20. |
