<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the suction sound of the air in the acceleration of a vehicle and the escape sound of the supercharging pressure in the deceleration of the vehicle respectively by placing a bypass valve to open a bypass passage in a deceleration of the vehicle as well as providing a chamber in a passage to bypass a supercharger in a suction passage. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 20 to bypass a turbocharger 6 and an intercooler 7 is connected to a suction passage 5, and on the way of this bypass passage 20, a chamber 21 and a bypass valve 22 are provided. And, to the chamber 22c of the bypass valve 22, a vacuum switching valve(VSV) is communicated through a pilot passage 28, and the operation of the bypass valve 22 is controlled by the VSV 27. Furthermore, the VSV 27 is operated ON and OFF by the instruction from a controller 19. And in a deceleration of a vehicle, for example, the bypass passage 20 is opened by the bypass valve 22, so as to make the chamber 21 function as an expansion type muffler, and the escape sound of the supercharging pressure is reduced effectively.</p> |
