<p>PURPOSE:To bind papers in a beautifully aligned state by providing aligning plates synchronously movable toward a central part in order to align the side edges of delivered papers to both side parts of a delivery tray in opposed relationship to operate the same in connection with a stapler. CONSTITUTION:The aligning plates 22, 23 constituting a paper aligning apparatus are vertically provided to both side parts of a delivery tray 11a and synchronously moved toward central part and the paper 21 on the delivery tray 11a are pressed to the aligning plates 22, 23 on both sides thereof to be aligned. The aligning plate 22 is connected to a cooperation frame 24 in a vertically provided state and the rear end thereof is connected to the slide frame 33 of a stapler 32 to operate the aligning plate 22 in connection with the movement of the stapler 32 toward a clinch position A. The aligning plate 22 is moved toward the central part through the cooperation frame 24 as mentioned above and the other aligning plate 23 is also moved toward the central part through a rack lever 25, a pinion 29 and a rack lever 26.</p> |
