The present invention relates to a locking and unlocking device for a rotatable element. This device essentially comprises a lock (2) equipped with two catch bolts (5,6) capable of interacting, respectively and alternately, with holes or keepers belonging respectively to two circular rows of holes or keepers (10,11,12;20,21) provided about a rotatable element (1) to be locked, and angularly offset from one row to the other.
