PURPOSE:To achieve little abrasion of a dot wire, to have lightfastness of the same extent as that of printed mater by an ink ribbon for which carbon black is used and to prevent a read error with an OCR device from occurring by a method wherein a coloring agent of ink is formed by compounding a plurality of organic pigments having good lightfastness to obtain black and by combining it with graphite. CONSTITUTION:By jointly using a blended organic pigment of excellent lightfastness and graphite as coloring agent of ink of an ink ribbon, the ink ribbon providing printed matter which is excellent in both lightfastness and infrared absorption, can be prepared. The organic pigment is selected from a group composed of anthraquinone series, isoindolinone series, isoindoline series, indanthrone series, quinophthalone series, quinacridone series, high molecular condensation azo series, dioxadiene series thioindigo series, Naphthol AS series, phthalocyanine series, perinone series, perillene series, benzoimidazolone series, metal complex and alizarin lake series, diketo series, pyrrolo series, and pyrrole series. |
