The dispenser comprises tubular for housing the material, discharge means at one end of the housing the piston mounted in the tubular. It is incrementally displaceable towards the one end with pump diaphragm comprising peripheral skirt connected to the tubular means.4 A central discharge barrel is connected with the discharge and a number of angularly spaced, raised hollow ribs and valleys therebetween extending radially between the skirt and the barrel. All of the valleys incline downwardly from the skirt to the barrel. The diaphragm is displaceable from a rest position towards the piston to cause discharge of material from the tubular through the discharge.
