<p>PURPOSE:To enable the maximum flexible point to be set at will by composing a fiber reinforced prepreg making a fiber orientation angle to the axial direction of a shaft and formed of at least two kinds of sheets having different properties. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 2 is composed of a plurality of fiber reinforced prepreg sheets 3 making a fiber orientation angle theta to the axial direction of the shaft 2 and long fiber reinforced prepreg sheets 4 making no fiber orientation angle, both sheets being laminated. When the fiber reinforced prepreg sheet 3 is composed of a medium elasticity fiber reinforced prepreg (20-30X10<3>kgf/mm<2>) sheet A and high elasticity fiber reinforced prepreg (40-70X10<3>/mm<2>) sheets A, C, the maximum flexible point of the shaft 2 is shifted to the club head side to provide the tip conditioned shaft 2 used by a golfer having slow head speed. Reversely when the high strength fiber reinforced prepreg for the sheet A and the medium elasticity fiber reinforced prepreg for the sheets for the sheets B, C are used, the hand conditioned shaft 2 used by a golfer having fast head speed is provided.</p> |
