摘要 PURPOSE:To prepare a correct fine four-layer model of the head part of a human body by extracting the boundary between a space and the head skin and between an encephalon and a cerebrospinal fluid, extracting the inner and outer contours of a skull from a CT image, and synthesizing each boundary into one image, adjusting the positions of both images. CONSTITUTION:In MR photographing, the mutual difference of the soft tissues such as that of proton density distinctly appears as image, and a head skin image 11 and an encephalon image 12 are developed distinctly. In CT photographing, the difference of absorptivity for radioactive rays is formed to an image, and a skull image 21 appears distinctly while a head skin image 24 appears indistinctly. Accordingly, the boundary between a space and the head skin is bound from the threshold value treatment with an MR image, and the boundary between an encephalon and the cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) is obtained according to manual. While, the outside contour 22 of the skull image 21 and the inside contour 23 are found through the threshold value treatment by using the CT image. When synthesis to one image is performed, adjusting the positions of both the images, each boundary of space - head skin, head skin - skull, skull - CSF, CSF -encephalon is obtained, and the fine four-layer model of the head part of a human body is prepared from each boundary data.
