<p>PURPOSE:To attain insert recording to a video area of a recorded magnetic tape by recording a signal with a rotary recording head controlled by a pilot signal reproduced through the use of a rotary erasure head not implementing erasure operation at insert recording. CONSTITUTION:An erasure fixed contact 17e is connected at first while a reproduction/erasure switching signal P4 from a control circuit 13 is '0', an erasure current signal is fed to an FE head 16 via an erasure amplifier 18 and one frame of a recording signal in a video area is erased. While the reproduction/erasure switching signal P4 is '1' next, a reproduction side fixed contact 17p is connected and a pilot signal recorded on a PCM area is reproduced by the FE head 16 and this signal is fed to a servo system 15 to apply reproduction servo. Then a head switching signal P1 is fed to a switch 11 and a signal from a recording system circuit 14 is fed alternately to heads 2, 3, and recorded to a same position as a recording position of the original signal on a recorded magnetic tape 1.</p> |
