PURPOSE:To prevent odors or the like from being diffused into rooms, by controlling the volume of air fed into each of a plurality of rooms to be air-conditioned, on the basis of output signals from temperature-detecting elements disposed in the rooms, and driving exhaust fans disposed in the rooms to exhaust odors or the like to the outdoors. CONSTITUTION:Air cooled or heated by a heat exchanger 4 is blown by a supply air fan 5, to be fed as a cool or warm air flow through a main duct 6 and branch ducts 7 into a plurality of rooms la, 1b and 1c to be air-conditioned. The air having served for air-conditioning the rooms is drawn through room intake ports 11, then flows through corridors or the like into a ceiling intake port 12, and is fed through an intake duct 13 and air filter 3, before being again fed to an interior unit 2. In this process, a blast-controlling means 18 sends opening/closing signals (e) to dampers 9 of blast-controlling units 8, based on temperature detection signals (d) each of which corresponds to the difference between a temperature set by the user or the like through a room thermostat 14 constituting a temperature-detecting element for the room 1a, 1b or 1c and the relevant actual room temperature. It is thereby possible to control the volume of cool or warm air fed to the room being air-conditioned. |
