The box for packing objects individually has a lower end upper part whose edges are provided alternately with protrusions (1) and indentations (2) whereby the protrusions of the lower part extend into the identations of the upper part - and vice versa. Both the lower part and upper part are made from an outer layer (3) and inner layer (4) and tabs (5) of the inner layer extend through slits (8) in the outer layer and adjoin the outside face (7) of the outer layer (3). Recesses provided in the outer layer serve to hold the tabs (5) adjoining the outside face (7) of the outer layer (3) of a further box stacked adjacent the same.
