A mould tool, partic. for use with thermoplastics, consists of at least one part which is a thin metal dish (pref. made by spraying) and a rear filling which is pref. at least partly surrounded by a body of a hardened mixt. of binder and Fe powder. The back filling material is a uniform hardened mixt. of some 3 pts. wt. 'Geopolimit' (RTM, a fluoropoly (sialat-disiloxo) and 4 pts. wt. Fe particles. ADVANTAGE - The mould has a very high and durable thermal resistance. It can rapidly reach its desired temp. and hold it relatively accurately.
