The water-powered current generation plant comprises 2 floating pontoons (1) with a free space between them, in which at least one paddle wheel (2) is located, the rotation of the paddle wheel (2) used to drive an electrical generator (5), in turn driving a generator (6). Pref. each paddle wheel (2) is supported by movable carrier arms (3) which are raised and lowered via hydraulic piston/ cylinder devices (4). USE- For low-cost electricity generation.
