摘要

(A) New preserved (i.e. preservative-treated) antacid prepns. contain as preservative oil of cinnamon, cinnamaldehyde oil of cloves, eugenol, oil of thyme, and/or thymol. (B) The use of cinnamon, cinnamaldehyde, oil of cloves, eugenol, oil of thyme and/or thymol, individually or in combination, for the preservation of antacid prepns. is new. Pref. compsns. contain 0.01-0.1 wt.% preservative. Pref. antacids are those contg. hydrotalcite. The prefd. preservative is oil of cinnamon.
