PURPOSE:To almost perfectly remove the residual water in a pipeline by chemically absorbing the residual water in the pipeline by the water absorbing resin of a residual water discharging pig whose outer peripheral surface is composed of the water absorbing resin. CONSTITUTION:A residual water discharging pig 5 has a spherical or shell-shape outer peripheral surface composed of a water absorbing resin and is formed so as to have an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of a drain pipeline 1. The residual water discharging pig 5 is arranged between front and rear pigs 2a, 2b equipped with elasticity each having an outer diameter slightly larger than the inner diameter of the pipeline 1 and fed through the pipeline 1 under pressure along with the front and rear pigs 2a, 2b. As a result, residual water can perfectly be excluded in the reduced pressure feed number of times. |
