PURPOSE:To reduce pressure loss and to reduce the quantity of refrigerant by forming a header pipe substantially in U-shaped sectional shape, forming a front opening side of a side back wall and a front wall formed with a plurality of arch-shaped walls along a longitudinal direction and brazed at both side edges, and connecting tubes to the bent parts of the arch-shaped walls by brazing. CONSTITUTION:A header pipe 10 is composed of a side back wall 11 of U-shaped sectional shape and a front wall 12 made of a plurality of arch-shaped walls. The wall 11 is formed of a back wall 11A and a side wall 11B formed by bending an aluminum plate cladded by a brazing material and extended forward from both sides of the wall 11A in such a manner that its forward opening side is opposed to the ends of flat tubes 2. The wall 12 is formed by bending the aluminum plate cladded by the brazing material, and formed of a plurality of protruding arch-shaped walls 12A directed rearward, a connecting wall 12B formed at bent part in a flat surface state at the walls 12A, and an end wall 12C formed to block both ends of the wall 11. A long hole 13 is formed at the wall 12B, the tube 2 is inserted to the hole 13, and connected. |
