PURPOSE:To prevent a ring-pull-cap perfectly from failing to open by using in the formation of a liner the material having such a tear strength as not to permit its tearing upon uncapping. CONSTITUTION:An easy open cap has a liner 6 formed of the material having such a tear strength as not to permit its cutting upon uncapping. As the material for forming the liner 6, there are used various types of the materials, e.g. vinyl chloride sol composition formed by mixing a soft resin such as soft vinyl chloride resin with plasticizer or foaming agent. After a first weakening line 7 near a tab 5 is torn upon uncapping, when this tearing attempts to proceed along its extension line, the use of this liner 6 hinders the progress of further tearing and eliminates the possibility of the tab 5 alone being severed upon uncapping, thereby permitting an accurate uncapping. |
