PURPOSE:To offer a plasma display panel PDP having a good characteristic regardless of quality of formation of a cell barrier upper part by providing a low melting point glass layer having a melting point not exceeding a firing temperature of the cell barrier between a cell barrier of one side substrate. CONSTITUTION:After forming a black layer 12, a cathode 13 and a cell barrier 14 on a rear plate 11 and performing firing, a low melting point glass layer 15 is formed by screen printing on the upper part of the cell barrier 14. Paste for sealing is applied to the periphery of a rear plate 11 and a front plate 21 manufactured in this way. After performing the specified positioning while being mutually opposed, firing is performed at 430 deg.C for 20min. to be sealed. In this firing process, the low melting point glass is melted to block a gap to be generated between the cell barrier 14 and the front plate 21. As a result, optical crosstalk is improved and an action margin the whole of PDP is improved. |
